The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is a gorgeous game. In fact, it might be one of the PlayStation 4’s most beautiful titles. But, it is as pretty as it’s going to get. CD Projekt Red has declared it won’t be getting a PlayStation 4 Pro patch after the updated version of the console launches.
In order for games to look their best on the PlayStation 4 Pro, the developers have to put together a patch that takes full advantage of that new 4K support. That means more work on their part, and CD Projekt Red says it doesn’t have the time to do that for The Witcher 3 . The developer is working on Gwent and Cyberpunk 2077 instead.
On the plus side, The Witcher 3 is already one of the best looking PlayStation 4 games. Even if it isn’t getting a substantial upgrade, you can still enjoy it for what it is.
