DriveClub is a really affordable game. Someone with a PlayStation 4 can pick it up for $20 now, $8 if they have PlayStation Plus. So, when Sony said DriveClub VR would be a PlayStation VR launch window title, you had to wonder what it’s price would be. Well, it might be a bit more than you’d expect. It’s going to cost $39.99.
On the plus side, that price probably won’t keep too many people away. Why? Because DriveClub VR is going to be a launch day title. It’ll be out on October 13, While some might bat an eye at a $40 version of a game that’s two years old, it seems a little more attractive when it could be one of the few games out at that time.
I have a feeling DriveClub VR could really help the PlayStation VR, regardless of price. Driving games are a good fit for the technology. Plus, it’s one of the games that will be on the demo disc included with the system. People will get to try before buying, which helps quite a bit!
