Ubisoft was one of the first companies to express its full support of Nintendo’s NX. A couple of months ago you may remember Ubi’s EMEA head Alain Corre saying that they believe “Nintendo has the power to reinvent the way families are playing.” That’s why they were eager to announce Just Dance 2017 for Nintendo’s new mystery console, and recently at a Ubisoft presentation attended by GameSpot , Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot had more great things to say about the NX.
“The new Nintendo [console] is a fantastic machine. It’s really a new approach, it’s really Nintendo, [which is] coming with something new again. We love it.” Guillemot also noted that the NX would be a disruptive force in the industry, creating exciting new opportunities for developers. He also confirmed that Ubisoft is “working on some [other] projects” for the NX, so hopefully we’ll have some exciting announcements soon.
