Frank West isn’t the man he once was. Literally, he’s a different person. Instead of going with T.J. Rotolo, Capcom has cast a new actor in the role for Dead Rising 4. It’s quite a shock, but at least now we know why the change was made.
On Capcom Unity , Dead Rising 4’ s Asset Manager Trant Lee-Amies offered an explanation for the swap. “We wanted to work with someone to provide a more grizzled, older take on Frank at this stage. It’s no disrespect to history or previous actors – TJ has done a bang-up job.” That makes sense. Frank always did seem like a rather tough journalist who’s seen it all.
Unfortunately, Capcom hasn’t revealed the new voice actor’s identity. Does Frank’s voice in the most recent Dead Rising 4 seem familiar to you? I can’t seem to place it.
