Nintendo NX Listing Spotted at Tesco

Nintendo NX Listing Spotted at Tesco

Y’all didn’t really think I’d make it until Tuesday without posting something NX-related, did you? This morning some eagle-eyed fans sent NintendoLife a listing from UK retailer Tesco’s website. It seems that Tesco has listed the “Nintendo NX Wii U” for sale, with a placeholder release date of December 31. What’s interesting is the suggested price, which is £349.99.

We’re assuming (read: hoping) that the price is a random placeholder as well. £350 would translate to about $450 USD, and I know my Canadian readers (and editor) don’t even want to think about how much the NX would cost in Canada at that price point [ No, no we don’t.. -ed ].

While we expect the details to change, a premature listing at Tesco means that Nintendo could be close to revealing the NX. Nintendo has worked closely with the retailer in the past. A few years ago the two teamed up to launch a major educational and marketing campaign designed to boost Wii U sales. We’ll keep you updated as the listing evolves.
