BlazBlue: Central Fiction’s Story Begins in November

BlazBlue: Central Fiction’s Story Begins in November

There’s good news for people who appreciate 2D fighters. One of the biggest Arc System Works games is about to arrive. Aksys has confirmed that BlazBlue: Central Fiction will come to North America in November. That’s one month after its October Japanese release.

BlazBlue: Central Fiction is important as it is the end of an era. This game concludes the Azure Saga storyline that began way back in 2008 with BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger , the first game in the series. It will have a three act storyline, 33 playable characters, and no English voice acting. This is the first time a BlazBlue fighter will be localized without an English dub.

This is especially cool, as it makes a number of major characters playable for the first time. We’ll be able to use Nine the Phantom, Saya, Es, Mai Natsume, Hibiki Kohaku, and Naoto Kurogane. Es is going to be DLC, but she’ll be free for two weeks after the game’s debut.

I’m super excited! I really love the BlazBlue storyline. It’ll be great to see how everything plays out, especially after so many years with “updates” rather than entirely new installments. Here’s hoping all of our questions are answered!
