Michel Ancel has been a very busy man, lately. We know he’s been hard at work on Wild , a wholly original IP that we can’t wait to get our hands on, and about which we haven’t heard a peep since late last year. Today, though, he’s teasing a very different game. Ancel shared the above image on his Instagram page with the caption, “Somewhere in system 4… – Thanks #Ubisoft for making this possible!”
Well, that “system 4” reference sure does sound like a Beyond Good & Evil reference to me, and that little piggy could be a young Pey’j. If it is, we could very well be looking at a prequel, not a sequel, to Beyond Good & Evil . Could that be Jade’s father? We have so many questions, and the hype has been exacerbated by the fact that Emily Rogers retweeted Ubisoft France’s post which links to Ancel’s image. It’s been rumored that Beyond Good & Evil 2 could be an NX exclusive. Could we be witnessing the initial stirs of an official announcement? Believe!
