2016 PlayStation Experience Heads to Anaheim

2016 PlayStation Experience Heads to Anaheim

Mark your calendars! The PlayStation Experience 2016 has been set and dated. This year, Sony is bringing the convention to Anaheim, California. Between December 3-4, people will be able to head into the Anaheim Convention Center and try games on the PlayStation 4 Pro and PlayStation VR. There will also be developer panels where you can learn more about PlayStation 4 games and exclusive merchandise sold. If you’re a good fighter, you can even take part in the 2016 Capcom Cup on December 3 and try to win $250,000 in prizes.

This will cost you, of course. A two day early bird ticket, available until they run out or October 16, is $60. After those are gone, it’s $75 for both days. Only Saturday is $45, while only Sunday is $40. This is due to the PlayStation Experience running from 10am-10pm on Saturday and 10am-6pm on Sunday. Sony also says to register with your PSN ID when you sign up. I’m taking this to mean there may be some digital content as swag.

When you think about it, about $40-45 per one day and $60-75 for two days isn’t bad at all. A minor comic convention can charge that much for its entry fee, and it certainly won’t afford you the luxury and swag that the PlayStation Experience does. If you live or can get to California, maybe consider heading to this event!
