Call of Duty: World at War Is Now Backward Compatible

Call of Duty: World at War Is Now Backward Compatible

The Xbox One’s library has grown again. Another Call of Duty Xbox 360 game can now be played on your shiny new system. Go grab your copy of Call of Duty: World at War . It’s time to head back to the battlefield with one of the series’ best entries!

Major Nelson made the Call of Duty: World at War backwards compatibility announcement on Twitter . When he did, he brought up another note that may interest Xbox One owners. Digital copies of all backwards compatible Call of Duty games can be purchased from your Xbox One. In case you’re wondering, the other ones are Call of Duty 2, Call of Duty 3, and Call of Duty: Black Ops.

This wasn’t the only new Xbox One backwards compatible game, by the way. Just perhaps the most important. E4: Every Extend Extra Extreme, Encleverment Experiment, and Funtown Mahjong were also added. That means the Xbox One now works with over 260 Xbox 360 games. Not too shabby, right?
