Modern Warfare Remastered Changed for You

Modern Warfare Remastered Changed for You

Raven Software is quickly becoming everyone’s favorite developer. We were all really nervous about Modern Warfare Remastered behind handled by anyone other than Infinity Ward, but Raven has pulled through and shown off an incredible finished product. MWR looks and sounds better than ever before, and all of the gameplay elements that made the original so innovative and addictive have been faithfully preserved. Not everything from the original made it to the remaster, though. The multiplayer announcer, for example, was changed. Fans didn’t like that, and Raven noticed.

Raven Software lead designer Amos Hodge sent out this glorious tweet : “MWRemastered will have the original MP announcer VO for the original modes.” That was actually the last of a series of tweets detailing changes being made based on player and fan feedback. Hodge also revealed that various weapon sounds were being changed to match the originals, strafe jumping is making a return, objective capture sounds are being changed, and all create-a-class items will be unlocked in private matches. They really are trying to make this the perfect game, and we couldn’t love them more for it.
