Gears of War fans may want to go ahead and initiate their media blackout. That is, according to Gears of War 4 developer The Coalition. Community director Adam Fletcher took to Twitter earlier today to warn fans that possible spoilers could be popping up soon. “Gears fans: Just a heads up, more spoilers may appear in the coming days. Stay [vigilant] if you want to keep things pure.”
We’re not exactly sure what prompted this warning, but it could be any number of things. Gears of War 4 went gold recently, so retail copies will be shipped out to stores very soon. The game is also available to pre-load on Xbox One. PC pre-loading will be available well before launch, too, according to the official Gears Twitter account . Once it is, then undoubtedly someone will find a way to mine the depths of the game’s files and data. Either way, be on the lookout, and guard your eyes and ears.
