Metal Gear Solid V: The Definitive Experience is now available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam. The collection is comprised of MGS V: Ground Zeroes, MGS V: The Phantom Pain, Metal Gear Online , and all of the DLC for each. That’s a whole lot of gaming for only $40. If you were waiting for the perfect opportunity to dive in and experience Kojima’s controversial Metal Gear swan song, this would be it.
For those of you who don’t know, Ground Zeroes is the prequel of sorts to The Phantom Pain . The story takes place in 1975, with Big Boss infiltrating a secret prison base in Cuba, wherein you’ll spend the entirety of the game. Ground Zeroes was a stunning showcase for the “FOX Engine,” which was built from the ground up by Kojima and his team. Metal Gear Online is a completely separate online multiplayer component that, to be honest, never really caught on. Still, this is a fantastic package at a reasonable price, so check it out!
