Hearthstone ‘s “Tavern Brawl” is where players go to relax and have fun. This is typically a non-competitive weekly event with wacky rules that let players play more casually and creatively. Sometimes you’re asked to craft an entire deck out of only three cards. Sometimes you get to create decks using only legendaries. Rewards for winning Tavern Brawls are neat, but not grand, and you’re always welcome to enter free of charge. This week, though, things are going to be a bit different.
Blizzard has revealed the “Heroic Brawl.” This special brawl will cost you 1,000 coins or $10 to enter, but the rewards for winning are tempting indeed. “Participants will create a Standard deck from their existing card pool and lock it in before their first Heroic Brawl match.” If you can manage to score 12 victories, you’ll receive 50 packs, three legendary cards, over 1,000 dust and over 1,000 gold. It would cost you well over $100 to score all of those things in-game if purchased separately. Do beware, though: if you lose three times, you’re out.
