D.Va Is StarCraft II’s Next Announcer

D.Va Is StarCraft II’s Next Announcer

The last BlizzCon 2016 in-game goodie revealed may just be the best. Blizzard has announced a new announcer for StarCraft II , and it’s great. Overwatch’ s D.Va will be joining the game. Which makes sense, because D.Va is a professional StarCraft player in the game’s lore. She was number one ranked at age 16, so of course she should be the only non- StarCraft character to get an announcer pack.

There are two ways to get D.Va as a StarCraft II announcer. The first is by buying the $39.99 BlizzCon 2016 Virtual Ticket. That gets you her announcer files and her avatar image for the game, as well as all of the other Overwatch, Hearthstone, Diablo III, World of Warcraft, and Heroes of the Storm add-ons. She’ll also be sold separately, minus the portrait, sometime after the event.

While $40 for a Virtual Ticket is a lot, you should try listening to D.Va’s sample StarCraft II lines via Battle.net . She’s a fantastic announcer and has great delivery. If you’re a fan of StarCraft II and Overwatch , you may need to consider this.
