Nvidia Reveals GTX 1050 and 1050 Ti

Nvidia Reveals GTX 1050 and 1050 Ti

Nvidia’s 10 series GPUs have been killing it. Pascal has proven to be a revolutionary leap in both power and efficiency. Whether you’re looking for a multi-monitor 4K solution, or something to stick in your budget build for high-end 1080p gaming, Nvidia has you covered. For the budget-driven gamers, the newly revealed GTX 1050 and 1050 Ti represent irresistible values at $110 and $140, respectively.

The 1050 Ti in particular should appeal to PC gamers looking for a new budget rig. With 768 CUDA cores, a boost clock of 1.4GHz and 4 gigs of GDDR5 memory, we’re looking at a card that should easily outperform the GTX 950, which up to this point has been the go-to choice for those looking to match or (slightly) exceed the performance of current-gen consoles. For about $100 more, of course, you can score the GTX 1060 – a much faster and more powerful card – but for exclusive 1080p gaming the 1050 and 1050 Ti should provide all the power you need for at least a couple of years.

The GTX 1050 and 1050 Ti will be available October 25.
