Pokemon Sun and Moon are a big deal. Lots of new Pokemon are being added to the game, older Pokemon are getting Alolan forms, and there are even Ultra Beasts that are mysterious, unknown creatures for us to face and fight. The Pokemon Sun and Moon demo was supposed to offer a taste of the adventure, but dataminers have torn it open and found sprites of every single new Pokemon and Alolan form stored away inside.
Diligent fans went through the demo and the findings have been collected on Reddit . There are 81 new Pokemon and 18 Alolan forms. Want to see bigger, better pictures of all those sprites, both standard and shiny? Head to Imgur . That brings the number of Pokemon species up to 802, which is crazy.
This is exciting stuff. I mean, granted we need to wait for official Pokemon Sun and Moon announcements to find out names, special moves, typings, and other helpful information. Still, seeing all these sprites is exciting! I’m super psyched about Rowlet and Popplio now!
