Talk to PS VR’s Summer Lesson Schoolgirls in English

In Japan, Koei Tecmo is making a weird game. That in and of itself is a statement that can apply to many titles in the company’s library. But this time, I’m referring to Summer Lesson . It’s basically a PlayStation VR game where you hang out with young women, one of whom is a schoolgirl. They talk, you watch them do things, and you answer simple questions via prompts on-screen. Only a Japanese version was announced initially, but it’s getting an English version too!

There’s a catch. Summer Lesson is like Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 . The Asian version will have English subtitles so you can still play, but it’s only confirmed for Asia. You’ll need to import a copy to play. But I guess the important thing is that you will be able to play it, if you don’t mind jumping over a minor hurdle to get it for your PS4 and PSVR.

One trailer has been released, showing what you’ll do when spending your first week with Hikari.

It looks… interesting. I suppose the same people who imported Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 will probably grab this too. Better make a Hong Kong PSN account for next year, so you can play it when it appears in 2017.
