River City Ransom is an almost 30-year-old game. You’d think everyone’s found everything there is to find in a game that old. But no, this NES game keeps giving. Youtube user Bisqwit found an incredible password that pretty much gives you everything you want or need to make your character the absolute best.
Bisqwit put together a video showing off the new River City Ransom code, as well as its results. It’s a bit odd, compared to other passwords, as it doesn’t use all spaces on every line for part of it. What you have to do is, on the password screen, put “MShin” on the first line on the left, “Technos” on the second line on the left, “Japan” on the third line on the left, “qSBQsm6nSUv” on the first line on the right, “hnR3ksdbuek” on the second line on the right, and qfijzqmlkmY” on the last line on the right.

Once that River City Ransom code is entered and accepted, you basically get to enjoy god mode. All of your character’s stats are vastly increased, you have all technique books, and you have as much money as you can carry. If you can’t win after using this code, something’s wrong!
