Bethesda Won’t Confirm Skyrim for Switch

Bethesda Won’t Confirm Skyrim for Switch

Seeing The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim show up during that Nintendo Switch reveal was exciting, right? I mean, the opportunity to play Skyrim everywhere? Who wouldn’t want that? Unfortunately, news has come in that suggest it may have been an example of something the Switch could perhaps possibly run, rather than something the system will actually get.

GamesIndustry.biz had an opportunity to ask a Bethesda representative about Skyrim’ s appearance in the trailer and if it would be on the system. The representative then said, “We’re happy to have had the opportunity to collaborate with Nintendo on the video. While we are not confirming any specific titles at this time, we are pleased to announce our partnership with Nintendo and support of the Switch. We look forward to revealing specific games and details in the future.” That isn’t very encouraging, is it?

Despite this backpedal, Skyrim could still be a possibility. Bethesda has signed on to make games for the Switch. It was among the companies Nintendo announced as a partner. And Skyrim was in the video. Maybe it’s one of those things that it’s too early to talk about just yet?
