So we have some good news and some bad news. Good news first! Nintendo has announced a Direct that will be airing this Thursday morning at 7 AM EST. This will be a Monster Hunter Direct, so Monster Hunter fans can likely look forward to hearing some DLC plans for Monster Hunter Generations , or possibly even news about Monster Hunter Stories , which is currently only available in Japan. Now I know what you’re thinking, so it’s time for the bad news:
Nintendo also stated that it will not be discussing the Switch. There will be no new information about the Switch and, as far as we know, no announcement of any kind of Monster Hunter game coming to the Switch. Some fans are speculating that “no information about the Switch” may be Nintendo’s way of saying that no specs or additional hardware info will be released, but that it may still mean a Monster Hunter Switch announcement might be possible. I wouldn’t hold your breath, but we’ll have to wait until the Direct airs to find out.
