The Division’s Huge Update 1.4 Is Live

The Division’s Huge Update 1.4 Is Live

Ubisoft has been hard at work patching up The Division which, according to Ubi, is still the best-selling video game of 2016 so far. However, a variety of bugs, glitches, and mechanic hiccups have been getting in the way of players enjoying the game to its fullest. Update 1.4 aims to alleviate those frustrations and enhance the game in every way. The full list of changes is quite long, and can be found in the official patch notes , but here are some highlights:

  • New Feature: World Tiers – Upon reaching level 30, players are now able to select a World Level Tier that controls the level of enemy NPCs encountered and the quality of the loot they drop
  • “Time-to-kill” enemy NPCs has been lowered
  • Improved enemy AI
  • Player ammo capacity has been increased by 50% after level 30
  • When matchmaking the game will now attempt to refill empty slots if the group privacy allows it
  • The map indicator for Rogue players now increases in size the closer they are to the player
  • All NPCs will now have chances to drop High-End Gear Set items, tougher enemies (veteran, elites) have higher chances to drop
  • Updated Rewards for all main missions
  • Updated Rewards for boss drops and Supply Drops in the Dark Zone

Believe it or not, that’s an almost negligible selection of the full list of changes and improvements. If you’ve been putting off booting up The Division for a while due to some minor (or major) annoyances, it seems like now is the time to jump back in.
