Don’t you dare make me do math, Square Enix! Okay, I kid, but I think we can all agree that Kingdom Hearts has historically featured a lot of goofy (heh) titles. The latest addition to the lineup is Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 Remix , a massive compilation of every HD remaster in the series to date, all in one package for PS4. The six titles on the disc include Kingdom Hearts Final Mix, Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories, Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days (HD cinematics), Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix, Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep Final Mix, and Kingdom Hearts Re:coded .
It is yet unknown whether this compilation will feature any additional elements or gameplay refinements. I’ve admittedly grown tired of the protracted Kingdom Hearts hype cycle, but even I can appreciate the allure of having every main series title on a single platform. Hey, Square Enix, if you put a Wall-E world in Kingdom Hearts III , then all is forgiven. Deal?
