It’s happening. The time has almost come. Fallout 4 is finally going to get mods on the PlayStation 4. After much dilly dallying, due to technical difficulties and Sony’s restrictions, the mods will be coming to Sony’s console this month. It’s only five months after the Xbox One version got its mods!
The Fallout 4 PS4 mods will come in the console’s next title update. Bethesda doesn’t know exactly when that will appear, but knows it will be released sometime in November. Given that the PC’s update 1.8 is now available and the PS4 and Xbox One versions are going through the certification process, it could happen within the next week.
While this is exciting, don’t think of PS4 Fallout 4 mods as a gateway to every sort of experience on your system. There will be some limitations. Remember, the PS4 mods can only use internal assets, and their space is limited to 900MB!
