Watch Dogs 2’s Seamless Multiplayer Temporarily Pulled

Watch Dogs 2’s Seamless Multiplayer Temporarily Pulled

One of Watch Dog 2’ s neater features is a seamless multiplayer experience. When it’s available and turned on, everyone’s online and playing at once. You can try and hack other people or help the police hunt them down. That is, when it’s available. Due to stability issues with the online opportunities, Ubisoft has shut seamless multiplayer down and won’t reimplement it until a a lag issue that popped up during launch is fixed. The company’s treating it as a priority issue to get it up and running.

On the plus side, there is still some Watch Dogs 2 multiplayer available. While seamless multiplayer is out, there are cooperative activities. After you get to the Hackerspace, you can invite a friend to join you for missions or even San Francisco exploration. Bringing someone along on a stealth mission is the best.

If it helps soften the blow and ease the wait, the very brief amount of time I was able to spend with the seamless multiplayer in Watch Dogs 2 was pretty cool. I was only able to take part in a brief bounty hunt, where I helped police track down another player who had gone on a car chase and went after civilians. The lag wasn’t horrible then, but waiting for it to be at its best is a wise decision.
