Starcraft II Patch Finishes Nova’s Story

Starcraft II Patch Finishes Nova’s Story

Beginning today, you’ll be able to lay Nova’s campaign in Starcraft II to rest, as Blizzard has released the third and final Covert Ops Mission Pack. It runs $7.50 on its own, but is included with the Mission Bundle at $15; however, you can’t buy the bundle once you’ve already purchased an individual pack.

This set of three missions concludes popular character Nova’s single-player storyline. You’ll gain access to new technology along the way, including upgrades from previous missions and additional weapons like a face-melting plasma rifle. The pack launches alongside Patch 3.8, which implements a new co-op mission, portraits, trophies, and a substantial multiplayer revamp. Units for all three races have been redesigned, which should bring some shakeups to competitive play.

A brief teaser for Mission Pack 3 is embedded below for your viewing pleasure. Starcraft II is still going strong, it would seem, even in light of its Korean ProLeague disbanding back in October.
