The dinosaur-centric PC survival game ARK: Survival Evolved is coming to PlayStation 4 on December 4 as ARK: Survivor’s Pack. It includes the base game as well as its expansion, ARK: Scorched Earth .
ARK is a game that challenges you to survive being marooned on a dinosaur-filled island. You must craft and build supplies and shelters with the help of other online players. You can eventually tame and ride over 100 of the prehistoric creatures, including raptors, brontosauruses, and pteranodons (insert screeching dinosaur noises here). The PS4 version of ARK includes the exclusive Bionic Gigantosaurus skin and a Manticore armor set.
ARK: Survivor’s Pack will be priced at $55. Developer Studio Wildcard says that they will continue to support the game with a series of major updates until it launches as a “final product” in Spring 2017. So… what you’re paying $55 for apparently isn’t a final product. Good to know. I’ll save my dino-dollars for now, thank you very much.
