Madden NFL 17 for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One received a substantial update yesterday. The new version of the game incorporates features based on community feedback, including commentary updates, Madden Ultimate Team tweaks, and more.
Some of the changes are cosmetic, like fixes for run-after-catch animations that would incorrectly trigger drops in certain situations. A bugged Ice the Kicker prompt was also fixed, as well as a certain method for triggering a speed boost. Commentary has been enhanced with post-PAT lines, touchdown lines have been adjusted, and postplay analysis has been added. Madden Ultimate Team received some of the biggest adjustments, doling out rewards after individual games (instead of after entire events) and adding Super Bowl-related presentation to appropriate games.
