The Walking Dead Season 3 Starts with 2 Episodes

The Walking Dead Season 3 Starts with 2 Episodes

The third season of Telltale’s The Walking Dead is going to be a little bit different. Our focus is going to be split between two characters, a new guy named Javier and Clementine. This means that the first installment is going to work a little differently. At the 2016 Game Awards, Telltale revealed two episodes will launch on the same day.

The Walking Dead: A New Frontier will begin with two episodes, instead of just one. People will be able to get both episode one and two on December 20. A three minute, extended trailer shown at the award show begins by introducing Javier’s family. His father dies and everyone’s mourning, but it turns out he isn’t exactly dead yet. Things don’t go very well from there.

See for yourself. It’s rather jarring.

I’m really excited to see where this goes. Especially since Clementine is the seasoned veteran here. Javier seems to have no real idea what’s going on or how to deal just yet, but she’s all set. You go, Clem!
