Ready to race? You have quite a few options if that’s your desire. But sometimes, you want to kick back with a classic. Sony will help you with that, with the WipEout Omega Collection . Announced at the PlayStation Experience 2016, this bundle gives you remasters of two amazing WipEout installments for your PlayStation 4 in summer 2017. There’s even PlayStation 4 Pro compatibility!
WipEout Omega Collection gives you WipEout HD , its Fury expansion, and WipEout 2048 . All three are HD remasters running at 60fps. There are Career, Detonator, Eliminator, Single Race, Speed Lap, Time Trial, Tournament, Zone, and Zone Battle modes, 46 different ships, and 26 tracks. You can play offline or online, with up to eight people able to race together online. There’ll even be new and old songs on the soundtrack.

I’m really excited about this remaster! I enjoyed WipEout 2048 , but always had trouble playing it with others. I’m glad to see its Career Mode will be back, and the tracks and cars from it will be available for what’ll probably be a busier online multiplayer environment.
