There are very few people in the Friday the 13th series that are able to stand up to Jason. Tommy Jarvis is one of them. He’s a victim turned hunter, someone fans of the series can root for. And now, when Friday the 13th: The Game is released, people will be able to step into Tommy’s shoes.
Tommy will be portrayed by Thom Mathews in Friday the 13th: The Game . That name should sound familiar, as he played the role in Jason Lives: Friday the 13th Part VI . He resembles Mathews, carries a shotgun, and even uses “maggot head” as a taunt. Naturally, this means he’ll be on the side of the campers trying to survive against Jason.
There’s even a reveal trailer, in which Tommy is looking pretty good.
This gives me new hope for the people who’ll be fighting against Jason and trying to survive in Friday the 13th: The Game . After all, Tommy’s beaten Jason. He’s a proven warrior who can topple someone otherwise unholy and immortal. With him on their side, the ordinary teens might survive!
