Those of you still playing Destiny have something fun to look forward to when you log in later today, as Bungie has kicked off a holiday event called “The Dawning.” Hey, even Guardians need to blow off some steam every now and then.
This limited-time celebration offers a plethora of seasonally-themed activities to active players, including new quests and bounties, as well as scoring for Strikes. You’ll be able to earn new weapons, gear, and Sparrows by participating. Speaking of Sparrows, the single-person vehicles are at the forefront of the Sparrow Racing League, which makes its return as of this update. If this is the closest we’re gonna get to an online F-Zero in 2016, I’ll take it.
The Dawning runs until January 3, so you have ample time to jump in and savor the festivities. For a visual rundown of everything new, check out the trailer below.
