We absolutely loved Dishonored 2 . Its blend of stealth and style led us to award the game a rare 5.0 score , and though no game is perfect, it certainly comes close. It will be inching even closer to perfection in the following weeks, as Bethesda has announced a pair of upcoming free updates that will add even more to the experience.
On December 19, the first update will add a New Game Plus mode to Dishonored 2 . After beating the game, you’ll be able to begin again with every ability unlocked and retain any Bonecharm Traits and Runes you collected in previous playthroughs. Then, in January, the second update will add custom difficulty settings and a mission select function.
Again, these two updates are free, so you won’t have to shell out any cash to see how they augment an already fantastic game. If you haven’t tried the first Dishonored yet, it’s available for as little as $10 at some retailers. Now’s as good of a time as ever to see what the series is all about.
