We didn’t just get a ton of Switch game announcements tonight. We also got a PlayStation 4 one! Sega is going to bring Puyo Puyo Tetris to both consoles. See, Tetris aliens come to the Puyo Puyo world, which leads to the iconic Puyo Puyo heroines and new Tetris characters fighting head-to-head in both games or either game at once.
There are multiple modes to Puyo Puyo Tetris. You can go through the Adventure story mode and Challenges alone. You can also have up to four friends join you for the Arcade mode. Swap mode gives everyone a Tetris and a Puyo Puyo mode, intermittently swapping between the two at set intervals. Big Bang and Party Modes are available too.

What’s neat is the way Puyo Puyo Tetris will be released this spring. On the PlayStation 4, you can only get a $30 physical copy. On the Switch, it will be available digitally for $30. But, there will also be $40 pre-order and first-run physical copies with Puyo Puyo and Tetris keychains.
