Which is exactly what has happened with Resident Evil 7 . One week before they were supposed to be sold, the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions have been up for sale in the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar.
This means that spoilers are online for Resident Evil 7 right now. This is due, in part, to people who’ve got it actually playing it. Also, there has been data mining. Which is to be expected with any early release now. Beware of sites like Reddit, because information is spilling out. Thankfully, NeoGAF has it contained to a single thread.
On the plus side, this means positive Resident Evil 7 information too. Like we know there are three difficulty options! Casual has health that regenerates quickly, more checkpoints, unlimited saves, and less challenging enemies. Normal has regenerating health at a slower pace, fewer checkpoints, more challenging enemies, and unlimited saves. Madhouse has no checkpoints, no health regeneration, requires you to find cassette tapes to save, and features far deadlier enemies that even have special attacks. Sounds scary!
