Big news for Xbox One and PC owners. There’s another Xbox Play Anywhere game. The even bigger news is that it’s for a game you wouldn’t expect. It turns out Capcom’s Resident Evil 7 is part of the program. That means people who pick up either the Xbox One or PC version will automatically own the other. What a way to build up a Windows 10 library!
Surprisingly, a big deal wasn’t made of this news. Phil Spencer took to Twitter to let everyone know the good news. This means people get two bonuses when getting Resident Evil 7 for their Xbox One. Previously, a bonus offer that gave people a copy of Resident Evil: Retribution for free was announced.
This means the Xbox Play Anywhere library is gradually growing. There aren’t too many other games that support it right now. Killer Instinct, Gears of War 4, Forza Horizon 3, ReCore, Slime Rancher, ARK: Survival Evolved, State of Decay, and Halo Wars 2 are among the ones in on the deal now. It’s nice to see major third party companies kick in games too.
