I Am Setsuna Gets Switch-Exclusive PvP Mode

I Am Setsuna Gets Switch-Exclusive PvP Mode

One of the games quietly revealed for Nintendo Switch last weekend was a port of I Am Setsuna , the throwback RPG crafted by Tokyo RPG Factory, a sub-studio of Square Enix. Meant to emulate genre classic Chrono Trigger, I Am Setsuna tells the story of a young girl on a pilgrimage to sacrifice her life for the greater good of the world.

A sizzle reel revealed that I Am Setsuna was coming to the Switch, but we didn’t know if it would have any additional features – until today, that is. An update to the official Japanese website for I Am Setsuna describes a new PvP feature that will be exclusive to this version of the game. Dubbed the “Arena of Time,” this new mode will let you pit your party against others players’ in a bid for supremacy. You’ll be able to customize your characters with new options in this mode, though we don’t yet have any details on what exactly those are.

I Am Setsuna releases digitally alongside the Nintendo Switch on March 3 in Japan. The North American version is due out sometime later that month.
