EA Subscribers Can Play Mass Effect: Andromeda Early

The most stalwart of Mass Effect fans among you will be happy to know that EA is making it possible for you to play Mass Effect: Andromeda a week before its official launch of March 21.

Subscribers to the Xbox One EA Access program or its PC equivalent, the Origin Access program, will gain access to a 10-hour trial of Mass Effect: Andromeda on March 16. A subscription costs $5 for one month or $30 for one year, and includes access to a number of free EA titles for as long as you remain a subscriber. If the program doesn’t appeal to you, you could always sign up for a chance to participate in the Mass Effect: Andromeda “multiplayer tech test” over at the Bioware Beacon .

Is a week of extra playtime worth the commitment that comes with subscribing to one of EA’s premium services? That depends on how crazy you are for Mass Effect. I’m excited, but I can probably wait an extra week in this case.
