There’s one gaming award show you might not watch, but should this year. See, South by Southwest always has an awards show. It’s going to be held on March 18. And this year, it’ll be really worth watching. Why? Because Xavier Woods, a member of the famous WWE wrestling trio The New Day, will be hosting it with Sonja “OMGitsfirefoxx” Reed.
This is fantastic news. Do you know why? Xavier Woods is a huge gamer. He’s this enthusiastic, knowledgeable guy. And he has the hosting skills to do this. UpUpDownDown is his YouTube channel, filled with gaming videos. The SXSW Gaming Awards are going to be great this year.
The SXSW Gaming Awards 2017 will be honoring games in Video Game of the Year, Mobile Game of the Year, Tabletop Game of the Year, Esports Game of the Year, Trending Game of the Year, Fan Creation of the Year, and other categories. I have a feeling Overwatch and Pokemon are going to clean up.
