Huh. As it turns out, the last release in the DiRT series wasn’t DiRT 3, but 2016’s DiRT Rally . Shows what I know about racin’ cars! Those of you who follow the series are probably shaking your heads in disbelief – oh, what ignorance this man doth display – and are also probably excited to hear that DiRT 4 is slated for release later this year.
The series continues in its tradition of providing more off-road racing thrills than you can shake a stick shift at. Its tagline, “be fearless,” encourages you to race to the fullest using over 50 cars at five rally locations, which purportedly contain “millions of routes.” DiRT 4 features modes like Landrush, Joyride, DiRT Academy, Career Mode, and Tuning, as well as rotating challenges every day, week, and month.
Rev up your engines, because DiRT 4 releases on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on June 9, 2017. The following teaser provides an early look at the action:
