Splatoon 2’s Demo’s Arriving in March

Here’s the deal, future Switch owners! On the Wii U, there was a Global Testfire event for Splatoon before its launch. For a set number of days, people around the world could try the game, sample some weapons, and enjoy engagements on a few maps. Now, Nintendo is repeating offering a similar demo for the sequel. A Splatoon 2 Global Testfire will take place this March.

Splatoon 2’ s Global Testfire demo will be playable March 24-26, 2017, during certain windows. The Splat Dualies, Splat Roller, Splat Charger, and one other weapon will be playable.

Here is the Splatoon 2 Global Testfire schedule.

  • March 24: 12pm-12:59pm PT/2-2:59pm CT/3-3:59pm ET
  • March 24: 8-8:59pm PT/10-10:59pm CT/11-11:59pm ET
  • March 25: 4-4:59 a.m. PT/6-6:59pm CT/7-7:59 a.m. ET
  • March 25: 12pm-12:59pm PT/2-2:59pm CT/3-3:59pm ET
  • March 25: 8-8:59pm PT/10-10:59pm CT/11-11:59pm ET
  • March 26: 4-4:59 a.m. PT/6-6:59pm CT/7-7:59 a.m. ET

There’s also new information on how people can enjoy Splatoon 2 online and offline. People who want to play, not watch, can enjoy Private Battle Spectator View. This allows two people to watch a Private Battle at a time. LAN Play will be supported, allowing eight players and two spectators to dock up to 10 systems and play locally.

Splatoon 2 is sounding absolutely amazing. This is going to be a fantastic game for everyone to enjoy.
