Star Trek: Bridge Crew’s Delayed Until May

Star Trek: Bridge Crew’s Delayed Until May

There’s bad news for VR fans hoping for a space-faring adventuring. Your voyage has been temporarily grounded. Ubisoft’s Star Trek: Bridge Crew has been delayed again. Its new release date is May 30, 2017.

This is the second Star Trek: Bridge Crew delay. Ubisoft first said it would come to the Oculus Rift, HTC Vive, and PlayStation VR on November 29, 2016. The month before that launch date, it was delayed until March 14, 2017. Now, what would have been one month before launch again, it’s postponed again.

It’s disappointing news, to be sure. A lot of people were probably planning to play soon. There is a bright side, though. Ubisoft announced a beloved ship will appear in the game. The U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701, from the original Star Trek, will be playable in Star Trek: Bridge Crew’ s Ongoing Voyages mode. Neat!
