Rocket League Will Get PlayStation Pro Support Next Week

Games getting PlayStation 4 Pro support is the cool thing to do lately. Everyone’s getting in on it and making their products look better than ever. Naturally, this means Psyonix is joining the part. Thanks to help from Panic Button, the Rocket League will run at 60 FPS in all arenas during both single and two-player split-screen matches, as well as offer 4K support on Sony’s improved console. This will be included as part of a February 21, 2017 update.

Are you jealous, standard PlayStation 4 owners? Don’t be. Your version of Rocket League is going to look a lot better too. It will support 1080p resolution after the patch, as well as offer 60 FPS in single and two-player split-screen matches held in every arena.

As nice as the improved visuals and performance will be, I’m actually a little more excited about the new customization options. Player’s Choice fan-favorite crates are coming in the next update too. These will have the Lightning and Zomba exotic wheels, Octane ZSR, Dominus GT, and Breakout Type-S import battle-cars, and the Breakout Type-S, Dominus GT, Octane ZSR, and Takumi RX-T Distortion very rare decals.
