Video game toys and figures are cool. It’s great to have a physical manifestation of our favorite characters. McFarlane Toys is pretty good about providing such things. Which means of course the three new Destiny figures coming in July are going to be cool. But, there’s something about each one that makes this initial wave of characters even cooler. They’re inspired by an event and raids.
There are three characters in this first Destiny line of McFarlane figures. People can pick up a King’s Fall Warlock, Iron Banner Hunter, or Vault of Glass Titan. Vault of Glass is a raid that was released shortly after the game launched, King’s Fall appeared a later in The Taken King expansion. Finally, Iron Banner is a Crucible event. Each one will be $20 and come with accessories and a themed base.
Do you have a favorite in this cluster of characters? I think I like the King’s Fall Warlock best. The armor is just incredible. Though, all three characters are quite detailed and impressive. No matter which one you get, you’re pretty much guaranteed a winner.
