As IGN reported today, it seems the Wii U version of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild may have been leaked online. Details about the game, and yes spoilers, have started popping up across the internet. Be careful what you read!
Like these things will, it seems the leak began on 4chan, but now Twitter, NeoGAF, and The Legend of Zelda subreddit have been set ablaze with discussion about The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild leak. Some of the talk is regarding unannounced details. Others are trying to prove that the leak is authentic. As far as we know, many of the leaks could be false, but some could also be very, very real. Whoever you are that caused this, we only have one thing to say, “Why would you do this?!”
Plenty of other major releases have seen Twitter bots sending story spoilers to people tweeting about the game or movie in question. So be sure to watch what you’re posting out there! If you’d rather your The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild experience stay spoiler free, you may want to avoid certain parts of the world wide web for a time. Or, at least until the game launches on March 3.
