Xbox One’s Achievement Tracking Gets More Detailed

Xbox One’s Achievement Tracking Gets More Detailed

Achievements and trophies are bigger than ever, and some of the cooler features in the current console generation have to do with how closely users are able to track and compare their videogame milestones. Today, Microsoft has launched a small, but cool update to the Xbox One’s achievement function. Similar to the PlayStation 4, the Xbox One shows how many people have a particular achievement in a percentage form.

Now, that percentage goes even deeper, showing the numbers down to a decimal level. In a screenshot provided on Twitter from Microsoft’s Mike Ybarra, you can see details on a Forza Horizon 3 achievement called “Still Never Found That Yeti.” It shows “3.29% of gamers unlocked this.” Further tweets from Ybarra reveal the tracker will report percentages all the way down to 0.01% if needed. Achievements can also be sorted by rarity.

This is pretty cool stuff, right? You always wonder how popular a game is and dedicated its fanbase might be. With reporting this accurate, you should feel extra special when you do accomplish goals most other people haven’t!
