Minecraft-esque Trove Available

Minecraft-esque Trove Available

For those unfamiliar with it, Trove is a sandbox MMO developed by Trion Worlds. It’s Minecraft -esque in look, but free-to-play! Trion Worlds worked super hard and has brought the game to consoles. Hop on your PlayStation 4 or Xbox One!

Trove had an open beta on consoles, which reached 4 million players since its December launch. Beta testers received a bevy of items, depending on platform. PlayStation 4 beta testers got a Chromatic Cumulus mount, while Xbox One people got the Trovian Tumbler mount. All players’ progress from the Trove open beta carried over to the full game. So if you played during the beta and haven’t gone back to it since, know that your acheivements are still there!

Some massive improvements were made to Trove before the March 14 move from open beta. These include a giant update to the Loot Collector, a brand new inventory menu for easier storage and management of loot, and improvements to the Club UI.

It’s always awesome to see popular PC and Mac games on consoles as well. Trove is one of those adorable success stories that you can’t help but feel a sense of adjacent pride for now that it’s made good. Check it out on the PlayStation 4 or Xbox One today!
