ReCore Definitive Edition Should Be Coming Soon

ReCore Definitive Edition Should Be Coming Soon

ReCore was one of those titles last year that got plastered all over the place. There were large displays at E3, the gameplay looked pretty, and everything seemed great! Then it came in like a lamb and people forgot about it quickly. I distinctly remember a moment where I said, “Hey, yeah, ReCore . Whatever happened with that?”

I’m not the only one either. ReCore released in September of 2016 seemingly very quietly. The reviews for it are generally middle of the road with players having enjoyed it, but left feeling like there could have been so much more to it. It seems the developers might have felt the same way, since downloadable content was announced last December for ReCore . What that includes is a new bot and a map area. The latter is currently already in the game but it’s unpopulated. This lends credence to that whole, “Why does this feel so empty?” moment many players were having with ReCore . The game was unfinished, and now we’ll be getting something slightly more like what the developers were going for.

The “DLC” has been seemingly confirmed by a NeoGAF user (“Shiggy”) who spotted a German rating for ReCore Definitive Edition . Considering it’s been reviewed and rated, it’s probably safe to say we’ll be seeing what this edition is all about soon.

There’s no official release date from Microsoft yet, but keep your eyes peeled!
