Blizzard has launched an extension of its online store called Blizzard Collectibles. It’s selling a line of expensive, high-end figures and other merchandise based on its various franchises and characters.Think of it as a means of collecting works of art inspired by and based on your favorite Blizzard series.
The Blizzard Collectibles line is launching with figures from Overwatch and Warcraft , along with a music box of sorts based on Hearthstone . The Overwatch figure line is starting with Tracer and Reaper, with Widowmaker following soon. They are available to purchase now or pre-order for $150. The Warcraft figures, Grommash Hellscream and Illidan Stormrage, come in at $350. The Hearthstone box is $225 and plays the game’s theme music when opened.
Blizzard plans to release more items for Blizzard Collectibles this year, so those of you with fat wallets and Blizzard-branded obsessions should keep an eye out on the site.
