Remember Gwent, that card game that The Witcher creators CD Projekt Red said they were gonna make? The one that’s been in closed beta on Xbox One and PC for a while? The one that doesn’t yet have a release date, but it’s gonna be free to play? The one that was all over the place at conventions last year? Yeah that one. PlayStation 4 players are finally getting their chance to believe in the heart of the cards. Gwent is opening a technical beta starting March 31! It begins at 10 a.m. PST and will run until Sunday April 2 at 11 p.m. PST.
You’ll have to download Gwent from the PlayStation Store to participate in the technical beta. CD Projekt Red does plan to fully release Gwent on the PlayStation 4 as well as Xbox One and PCs. So even though this beta is fairly short, you will see the full game soon some day! We’ll keep you appraised of when that might be as we continue to follow Gwent ‘s progress.
