[April Fools] NSA Leak Admits to Keeping Tabs on Gamers’ Achievements

Update From the Editor-in-Chief : APRIL FOOLS from Cheat Code Central! Did we fool you?

A notorious YouTube whistleblower known as GamerLeakz has blown the lid off yet another invasive NSA practice. Turns out, the Trump Administration has started an initiative based designed to datamine PlayStation Network, Xbox Live and Steam profiles for achievement and trophy details from individual users.

Allegedly, this all started when a Trump Administration staffer was shocked to learn gamers were being rewarded for looking up a non-human character’s skirt in a popular new game from a foreign market. In NieR: Automata , if the player looks up protagonist 2B’s skirt for a set amount of time, the character turns away and a “What Are You Doing?” achievement is awarded.

“We’re very interested to see who is looking up 2B’s skirt,” was one of the direct quotes from the alleged Trump staffer featured in the now de-listed GamerLeakz video. “This sort of debauchery in video games is a sign that millennials are out of control and on the way to becoming sexual deviants. If we don’t keep tabs on these gaming trends, we may see a rise in alternative lifestyle representation in the media; we can’t have that.”

The PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, and Steam data is still being mined by the NSA, so there is no word yet of any legislation being presented in reaction to these kinds of in-game reward systems.
